YOUR BEST PIECE OF CREATIVE WORK AT HIGH SCHOOL

This project was about designing a piece of art that covered or masked the body. This mask had to express one of the seven deadly sins and had to be made using items from reverse garbage. Also no glue of any sort was allowed. My ‘mask’ is based upon the 18th century French wigs and the sin “pride”. It was made from fine wire mesh, bottle tops and spray can nozzles. The wig represents people’s need to express one’s power and vanity with large and often vulgar displays of fashion.
